Run the installer
It installs for your user only and puts Station in the Start menu.

Get past SmartScreen
During the beta the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Signing comes before the public launch.

Open a project
Add a folder from the rail on the left. Station probes your shells and finds your Git.

Start an agent
Open a terminal with Ctrl+T and run claude, or Ctrl+Alt+T for an agent in its own checkout. Then hold Ctrl+Win and say what you want.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Claude Code: npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code, signed in with your Claude plan or API key
Git for Windows: agents get their own checkouts through git worktree
Node.js 18 or newer: Station’s agent hooks run on it

Station checks the public releases page and asks before it downloads anything. It never installs an update on its own.
