In every app
An email, a chat, a terminal, a form field. Hold the chord, talk, let go, and the text is pasted where you were typing.
kcorrai VoiceHold Ctrl+Win in any app and talk
Hold Ctrl+Win in any app and say what you mean. Voice writes it down, takes out the ums, keeps your corrections and puts the text where your cursor was. It never presses Enter for you.

Voice, from a held key to a clean sentence
1/4 · Tap Ctrl+Win twice
Twice in a row goes hands-free, in any app. The pill at the bottom of the screen shows it is listening.
Recorded in Station, in a sample project · waits sped up
What it does
An email, a chat, a terminal, a form field. Hold the chord, talk, let go, and the text is pasted where you were typing.
Tap the chord twice and talk for up to two minutes without holding anything. Tap once more to finish, or Esc to throw it away.
whisper.cpp runs locally, downloaded on first use: 6.8 seconds of speech becomes text in 0.9 seconds. No account, no key, no network.
Groq’s whisper-large-v3-turbo, OpenAI’s gpt-4o-transcribe, or any OpenAI-compatible address, with your own key.
Filler goes, punctuation arrives, and “no wait, Thursday” keeps the correction. It never summarises, translates or answers what you said.
A list of your own names and terms steers recognition and cleanup, and replacements turn “when you hear X” into “write Y”.
How it goes
In any app. The microphone opens on the press, so your first syllable is kept.
A small pill shows it is listening, with a live waveform. Pause, think, carry on.
It transcribes, cleans up and pastes. The Enter key is still yours.
In the box
Needs: Nothing to start. A provider key is optional.
No. Audio is never written to disk. History keeps the text, and turns off with one switch.
No. The local model needs nothing. A Groq or OpenAI key is optional, for harder audio or a faster machine’s worth of speed.
Never. Voice pastes the text and stops. Pressing Enter is always your decision.
Yes. Every Station license includes it, and inside Station the text goes straight to the terminal you were in.
