The short version

Station keeps your work on your computer. It sends two things over the network: a license check and an update check. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

What Station sends

For the license: a SHA-256 hash of your computer’s Windows machine id (never the id itself), your license key, and a label with the computer’s name you can change. For updates: a request to the public GitHub releases page. Nothing about your code, your projects, your prompts or your conversations is sent to us. Services you connect yourself (Claude Code, a hosted dictation provider, the sites you open in a browser panel) receive what you send them, under their own policies.

What we keep

When a trial starts on a computer we store that computer’s hash and the time, so a trial runs once per computer. When a key is activated or released we store the hash, a short fingerprint of the key and the time, to answer support questions. We keep these as long as the license exists, and delete them on request.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy, and shares with us what we need to support your purchase: your email, the product and the order.

Services we rely on

This site and the license server run on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver them and keep them secure. Installers are hosted on GitHub. Polar handles payments.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, at the contact on this page. Deleting a license’s records also ends its activations.
