Run (F5)

One key shows what the workspace builds, and starts it only if it is not already up.

Press F5 and Station finds what this project runs (a web app, a static folder, an Electron or Tauri app, an Expo project) and shows it. It reuses a server that is already up before it starts another one.

F5 works from anywhere, even over a terminal. Station reads what this project runs and opens it in a browser panel beside the terminal. A static page like this one it serves itself.

Show before start

Run looks for a server it started, then one a terminal printed, then one answering on the project’s own port, and only then opens a dev terminal. A port counts only if the process on it was started from this project’s folder, so five projects sharing :3000 do not get mixed up.

A chip you can read

The status bar chip shows what is running, on which port, with a stop button; its menu lists every target found, a custom command, restart and stop.
